Tournament Preparation Day

Coming up on Saturday, August 4th, we will be having a Tournament Preparation Day to help everyone get ready for the main event on Saturday, August 18th!  You do not need to be a Tournament Participant to attend the Preparation Day, so if you’d just like to get some extra training in, that would be fine as well.  If you are still on the fence about attending, it might be the perfect opportunity to come in and see what to expect!

Here’s the plan:

• We will start Noon on that day, and the entire course will last three hours, split into segments:
  • Hour 1 (12 Pm – 1 PM): Forms
  • Hour 2 (1 PM – 2 PM): Sparring
  • Hour 3 (2 PM – 3 PM): Weapons
• Each hour will be specifically designed to review strategies for presenting your best performance or give you the best shot at competing at your highest potential.

• Costs break down this way:
  • attend all 3 hours for $55  ($45 if you are already registered for the Tournament)
  • attend a single hour for $25 ($20 if you are already registered for the Tournament)

Mercer Island Summer Celebration

If you live on Mercer Island, then I’m sure you already know about the Mercer Island Summer Celebration happening Saturday, July 14th and Sunday, July 15th.  Along with all kinds of great arts, crafts, a fun run, food fair, and a kid zone with rides and other fun stuff, I hear the highlight of the event will be the Z-Ultimate Self Defense booth on 77th Avenue….
