SuperSaver is Coming!

Hi everyone,

Just a reminder about the schedule for this week:

  • Everything Tuesday and Wednesday is the same.
  • The school will be closed on Thursday for Thanksgiving
  • Friday and Saturday are our SUPERSAVER event, and will be normal schedule with the following adjustments:
    • FRIDAY AFTERNOON’S SPARRING CLASS at 5:30 is open to ALL KIDS Orange belt and higher.
    • FRIDAY EVENING’S ADULT GROUP CLASS will be a street clothes self-defense class, open to all Adult and Teen students as well as total beginners, so if you or someone you know would like to try it out, please come on Friday at 7 PM!  Please DO NOT wear a uniform!
    • There will be NO GROUP CLASSES on SATURDAY MORNING. Privates will run as usual.

If you haven’t already scheduled a time to talk to us about the SUPERSAVER Specials running this Friday and Saturday, let us know so we can let you know what is happening with that.  Even if you are out of town, we can schedule a phone conference.  If you need to schedule a make-up private or will be out of town, please also let us know.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, and we look forward to seeing you Friday or Saturday!

Ninja Night Details

What is Ninja Night?

If you were here for last year’s you already know the answer, but in case you weren’t here, Ninja Night is an all-out, super-fun party for our kids!

What do the kids do at Ninja Night?

We do all kinds of contests, games, pumpkin decorating, nerf gun wars, have a pizza dinner and frozen yogurt for dessert, watch a kid-appropriate movie (any suggestions out there?) and in general have a blast!

Do parents need to be involved?

Nope, take the night off and go catch a movie or have a Friday night date!  We have plenty of help, so no need for you to stick around.

Should the kids wear their gis/Halloween costumes?

They can wear what they would like, although I would recommend not wearing anything that would be a problem moving around in or spilling something on since we’ll be active and have food and drinks.

Here’s the plan:

  • Friday, October 25th, from 5:00 PM – 9:30 PM. You are welcome to stay for the whole thing, or if you can only attend part of it, that’s fine as well!
  • To help defray costs, entry is $40. If you bring a family member or non-karate friend, they can attend for 1/2 price.
  • Last year, we maxed out our space, so this year we unfortunately have to set a limit of 36 kids. Make sure to register yourself (and your friend or sibling) early!

I will be handing out cards to collect information for all attendees starting next week, but you can get your child registered early by emailing or calling the school, or by filling out the form below.  We are looking forward to seeing you there!

Refer-a-friend special!

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all enjoying the first few weeks of school so far and are settling into a routine!

I wanted to make sure that you heard about how you could get $75.00, just for referring a friend!

It’s really simple. Here’s how to do it:

  • Have your friend call or email us to set up their first class, and make sure that they mention your name. Or, if you would like us to contact them directly, let us know and we can do that.
  • When they enroll in a regular program on or before October 31st, they will get $100.00 off of their Kick Start Enrollment package with our “Back to Basics” Special.
  • But even better, YOU will get $75.00 credit towards your next tuition payment!

In order to be eligible for the credit, they will have to finish the enrollment process before the 31st of October.

If you have someone else in your own family who is interested in giving martial arts a try, the deal is even better, since you will get the credit up front (plus a little more)! Although you won’t get the credit towards your next tuition payment, you will save $197.50 when they enroll in a regular program. How’s that for a great deal?

Thanks and here’s to a successful “Back to School” transition!

Sincerely,

Benjamin Thomas

Back to School – Fall Schedule

So, autumn has somehow come around much faster than I realized!  For parents, the best time of year is finally back!

Several of you have asked about the Fall schedule, and you can click here to get it!

There are really only four changes on it:

  • Since kids will be back in school, the MORNING GROUP CLASSES will disappear until next summer. However, if there is enough interest, I may add a morning Adult class in the near future….
  • Also, the FRIDAY KIDS GROUP CLASS will be completing its shift to Saturday morning.
  • The KIDS SPARRING CLASS will still be on Friday, but extended by 15 minutes.
  • The PERFORMANCE CLASS will start and end 15 minutes later on Saturday.

Please let us know if you have any questions, or need to change your personalized lesson schedule for the fall. Thanks and happy back to school!
